Brent Driskill's Homepage
I am 24 years old. I attend college at Texas A&M University and I'm making this page as part of an assignment for a class. Please bare with me because I know nothing about making web pages.
The class is Horizons in Biochemisty (Bich 107) with Dr. Gunn as the instructor. The class has a series of lecturers on various subjects and then after each of the lectures a group of students has to design a web page on that subject. My group has the subject of chemeosensory or the chemical mechanisms associated with taste and smell. The lecturer is currently searching for new types of sweeteners that are non-caloric. I am currently searching the web for information on this topic and will, hopefully post some more by this weekend.

Quote of the Day
This one is from Midsummer Night's Dream, which is a great play for its language.

Lysander: How now, my love? Why is your cheek so pale?

How chance the roses there do fade so fast?

Hermia: Belike for want of rain, which I could well. Beteem them from the Tempest of my eyes.

Lysander and Hermia are in love and she is upset because her father Egeus is making her marry Demetrius or become a nun.
